Durgi Bhumij Foundation is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to creating positive social and environmental change across Bodoland and Northeast India. Since 2017, we have been working to improve the lives of marginalized communities through education, health and sanitation initiatives, biodiversity conservation, environmental awareness, ecotourism promotion, and sustainable livelihood development.

Our work bridges people and nature by empowering communities, supporting quality education, protecting wildlife and natural resources, promoting responsible tourism, and encouraging community participation in sustainable development. Through partnerships with local communities, government agencies, educational institutions, and conservation organizations, we strive to build a future where both people and nature thrive together.

From managing Millennium Academy and supporting hundreds of students to organizing conservation programmes, plantation drives, wildlife awareness campaigns, and the Northeast Butterfly Meet, our initiatives are making meaningful impacts across the region.
